Thx is a certified B Corp!
There’s a growing movement that believes businesses can serve a greater purpose beyond just shareholders alone.
At Thx, we’re glad to be part of that movement.
In an increasingly connected digital age, it’s become easier to see the negative effects that poor business practices have on societies. At the same time, it has become easier to see companies contribute to the advancement of social good. Today more than ever before, consumers are seeking out those kinds of companies.
From sustainable sourcing to charitable donations, people rely on a brand’s corporate social responsibility practices as a reason to support. Many of the brands that have embraced this responsibility have seen success building trust and fostering a greater sense of purpose with their customers – all while creating opportunities to tackle social challenges. That’s a win-win for the whole planet.
This is one reason why we feel deep joy and gratitude to share with you that we are a registered B Corp! To be accepted with our certification, we had to receive a minimum score on an assessment of our social and environmental performance and practices.
Social enterprises have an incredible opportunity to help fill the gaps in an ever-changing world. Digital and social revolutions have connected us with every story, every cause and every city – when it happens. This has increased our shared feeling that what happens there matters to us here, and we all want to do something about it. That’s where the b corporation movement comes in, and we’re thrilled to be a part.
Here is our B Corp Manifesto:
“We envision a new sector of the economy which harnesses the power of private enterprise to create public benefit.
This sector is comprised of a new type of corporation – the B Corporation – which is purpose-driven and creates benefit for all stakeholders, not just shareholders.
As members of this emerging sector and as entrepreneurs and investors in B Corporations,
We hold these truths to be self-evident:
That we must be the change we seek in the world;
That all business ought to be conducted as if people and place mattered;
That, through their products, practices, and profits, businesses should aspire to do no harm and benefit all.
To do so, requires that we act with the understanding that we are each dependent upon another and thus responsible for each other and future generations.”
Today, more than ever before, a brand’s social mission has become an essential factor that affects our purchasing decisions. Is it good for the Earth? Is it good for the people who made it? Is it good for me? And does it give back to others? At Thx, we aim to empower everyone we come into contact with so that our answers to those questions will always be a resounding, Yes!
Now let’s go make an impact.
